The Fenton varsity boys swimming and diving team not only continues to win. The team dominates.

The Tigers collected all 12 first-place finishes and seven of the nine individual second-place finishes, crushing Kearsley/Lake Fenton and Brandon/Goodrich Friday night.

What makes the performance even more impressive is the number of different performers who earned individual firsts — eight. Max Haney had two individual firsts, winning the 200 individual medley (2:10.44) and the 100 freestyle (52.62). The rest of the individual first-place finishers were Alec Maddock in the 200 freestyle (1:59.57), Anthony Barnett in the 50 freestyle (23.92), Joel Diccion in the 100 backstroke (1:03.16), Justin Miller in diving (160.15), Kaz Sieja in the 500 freestyle (5:15.65), Braden Flavo in the 100 butterfly (59.95) and Jack Kennedy in the 100 breaststroke (1:07.04).

The Tigers won all three relay events.  Jack Fries, Kaz Sieja, Barnett and Zach Michelson won the 200 medley relay (1:52.27) while Melchor, Luke DeFina, Haney and Crews won the 200 freestyle relay (1:39.79). Nick Demeray, Crews, Melchor and Tristan Bakker earned a first in the 400 freestyle relay (3:45.09).

Seven different individuals earned seconds. They were recorded by Evan Koch in the 200 freestyle (2:00.72), Joel Diccion in the 200 individual medley (2:14.70), Lucas Shampo in diving (149.30), Zach Michelson in the 500 freestyle (5:28.97), Jack Fries in the 100 butterfly (1:00.80), Justin Melchor in the 100 freestyle (53.24) and Bakker in the 100 backstroke (1:07.54).
