The Fenton varsity baseball team (17-10 overall) played its 10th and 11th games in 14 days, splitting a doubleheader against Bay City Western on Tuesday.

 The Tigers lost the first game 5-2 but then won the second game 9-7.

 Fenton took the lead for good with a three-run sixth, breaking a 6-6 tie. With one out, the Tigers began the inning rally when Jaden Burnau was hit by a pitch. Noah Dotson was walked and Spencer Luck followed with an RBI-single. Leo Thompson singled and Zach Brown responded with another RBI-single. A passed ball scored the third run, giving the Tigers a 9-6 lead.

 Offensively, Thompson and Kyle Crow had three-hit games. Crow also had two RBI. Luck had two hits (a double) and two walks.

 Nolan Alvord pitched the first five innings and got the win. Gage Graham pitched the final two innings, allowing just one unearned run.

 In the first contest, Fenton pitchers Jack Coleman and Luck only allowed one hit between them, but six Fenton errors allowed Bay City Western to score five runs. Crow led the Tigers with two hits and an RBI while Graham had a hit and an RBI.
