Seven tri-county wrestlers will be competing at the Division 2 Individual State Wrestling Championships.
Lake Fenton had four wrestlers and Holly had three wrestlers advance out of the Fremont regional. The state meet will be at the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids on Friday.
Both squads had one regional champion.

In prior matches, Gonzales earned a pinfall win and a decision victory. Gonzales enters the state meet with a perfect 17-0 record.
Lake Fenton’s Zack Hall also remained undefeated and will compete for a 130-pound state championship after winning a regional title. He improved to 25-0 by beating Owosso’s Peyton Frederick by a 3-0 decision in the title match. Hall won his first match by pinfall and then won his second bout by decision.
