Holly’s doubles flights were the stars in the Bronchos’ 6-2 victory against Clio.

 Holly won all four doubles flights and split the four singles flights en route to the win.

 Holly also competed in the Grosse Pointe North Tournament, taking seventh out of eight squads in a demanding tournament.

 Against Clio, the No. 4 doubles team of Jake Distel and Drew Hignite were dominant, winning 6-1, 6-0. The No. 1 doubles team of Wyatt Caldwell and Jack Ford also won y a pretty decisive 6-1, 6-4 victory.

 The other two doubles matches were tougher battles. The No. 3 doubles team of Parker Monty and Quinten Monty won 7-6(2), 6-2 while the No. 2 doubles team of Garrett Reid and Cameron McAninch won in three sets 6-1, 4-6, 6-2.

 In singles action, Brendan Kreft (No. 3) won a 6-2, 6-4 match while Joe Kittle  (No. 4) won a 7-6(6), 6-4 contest. Jacob Denman lost at No. 2 singles but it was a tight 6-3, 7-6(5) match. Walker Glass (No. 1 singles) lost 6-4, 6-1.

 At Grosse Pointe North, varsity tennis coach Will Sophiea was pleased with the performances of Reid, Parker Monty, Hignite, McAninch, Quintin Monty, Miles Sujud and Kittle.
