The Fenton varsity boys tennis team remains atop the Flint Metro League standings.

 The Tigers improved to 4-0 in league play with a 5-3 victory against the Clio Mustangs.

 Fenton won three of the four doubles flights. The No. 1 team of Nate Dymond and Gavin Stuber won their match 6-2, 6-1, while the No. 2 team of Joe McCarthy and Trey Hajec won 6-1, 7-6(3). Finally, Noah Gurnsey and Isaac Gurnsey won at No. 3 doubles 6-2, 7-6(4). The No. 4 doubles team of Tate Webb and Zach Michelson lost a tight 6-4, 7-6(1) verdict.

 In singles matches the two teams split. The Tigers had No. 2 player Josh Brott win his match 7-6(5), 6-3 while Remy Book also won at No. 3 singles 6-2, 6-3.

 Fenton’s No. 1 singles player Sheldon Hand lost in three sets 4-6, 6-0, 6-0, while No. 4 singles player Cam Ruiz lost 6-4, 6-4.
