Fenton soccer

The Fenton varsity boys soccer team is still undefeated in Metro League play.

 The Tigers, the league’s defending champion, remains tied in first place with new Metro members Goodrich after earning a 6-1 victory versus Owosso.

 Both squads are 3-0-0 in league play. Many teams remain in the race with Brandon, Flushing, Linden and Swartz Creek holding 2-1 league records.

 Alex Flannery was Fenton’s top offensive star, scoring a three-goal hat trick. His goals were assisted by RJ Stack, Calvin Curtis and Keegan McKellar.

 Curtis had two assists while Trevor Brown, Flannery, Will Dickens, Austin Ames and Mitchell Scheer had an assist each.

 Fenton returns to Metro League action with a home game against Corunna on Monday.
