The Fenton varsity boys soccer team keeps on winning Metro League contests.

 The Tigers improved to 4-0 in league action with a 5-2 victory against Corunna on Wednesday.

Fenton jumped to an early 2-0 lead in the first 17 minutes and never trailed.

Trevor Brown and Keegan McKellar scored the goals off of assists from Austin Ames and Devon Cherney. Ames provided a cross for Brown’s opening goal.

 Mitchell Scheer made it a 3-0 lead by halftime with a goal off a Gannon Welch assist.

 Both teams scored two goals in the second half, but Corunna was never able to really threaten the lead. Corunna did cut the gap to 3-1, but McKellar scored his second goal of the game off a Gavin Shepherd assist. Later, Ben Sheffield scored off a McKellar assist.

 The Tigers used an abundance of goalies. They were Zander Fulton, Joe Sullivan, Scheer, Devon Cherney and Alex Flannery.

 Fenton travels to Clio today for another Metro League contest. Fenton is tied for first place in the standings with Goodrich.
