All three tri-county girls golf teams competed at the Genesee County Meet on Monday, and the Fenton Tigers came home with the best team finish.

 Fenton took fourth in the 12-team events with a team score of 364, while Holly placed seventh with a 415. Linden was 10th with a 430.

 Grand Blanc won the event at Flint Elks Golf Club with a team score of 329. Powers Catholic was a close second (331) while Davison (362) finished just two strokes ahead of Fenton, placing third.

 Fenton was one of four teams to have each golfer post a score better than 100. Brook Herbstreit led the Tigers with an 84, while Olivia Herbert shot an 89. Victoria Carnell shot a 94 while Katelyn Burkett carded a 97.

 Holly’s top golfer was Kelsey Malone. She shot a 90. Kate Brown wasn’t too far back, shooting a 92. Holly’s final two scorers were Kendall Stillwell with a 109 and Makayla Bilbia with a 124.

 Linden’s Cassie Most paced the Eagles with a 100. Hanna Baldwin shot a 106 while Kaitlyn Straub and Caitlin Drager each shot 112s.
