AHH, finally some live sports
Last week was a pretty nice one on Fox Sports Detroit’s broadcasts. Each night of the week, the station presented a great pitching performance in Tigers’ history. It was entertaining to witness those games again.
There have been some Tiger games on the radio as well. It’s been nice hearing those as well, but there is one problem — because they are past games, we all know they are going to be Tiger victories. I listened to one game that the Tigers trailed by six runs entering the bottom of the ninth. It took some of the drama out of the game knowing the Tigers were going to at least tie the game in the bottom of the ninth.
But now, we have some actual live sports. Yes, I have been watching some of the Korean baseball games. It’s baseball and it’s live, so I’ve watched it. This weekend there was cornhole competitions. Okay, that was pretty hard to watch, but it was on. Finally, later this week NASCAR is back. I’m looking forward to those events.
It’s a long way to getting back to normal, but I’ll take it. I bet the first NASCAR race breaks some ratings records.
