Dear Editor,

I would like to say a few words about what The Devoted Barn animal rescue means to me. I am a stage four cancer patient out of the University of Michigan hospital in Ann Arbor. I live in Ortonville and previously was on a NASCAR race team in Holly. Those dogs are my salvation. Animals have brought me from a deep dark depression. Without those animals, I have no idea what I will do. I am begging you please save the dogs and leave them where they’re at. Recently, the University of Michigan did a story about me and posted it for millions of people to see. During this interview, the sweatshirt I am wearing is the Devoted Barn, because of how much it means to my recovery. I am not lying.
