‘‘I wish to thank the two ladies who paid for my items at Dollar General on Tuesday Oct. 25. And a special thank you to the lady who paid for my groceries on Wednesday. I will pay it forward, thanks to you.”

‘‘I don’t know about other neighborhoods, but the Squanemah Shores area did Halloween right. It was awesome seeing so many costumed trick-or-treaters and their parents, some also dressed up, following close behind. We actually ran out of candy this year.

‘‘Kudos to Tri-County Times for publishing ‘So you think this election is nasty?’ Trump/Biden is very mild compared to these. Real Americans knew this.”

WONDERFUL HALLOWEEN COSTUMES and the kids seemed more excited this year. So fun. I never know how many to prep for. Sixty was not enough.
