‘‘Would like to thank the person who paid for my coffee order at Biggby’s Saturday morning. It was very thoughtful.”

***

‘‘I’d like to  thank the Fenton VFW for the offer to allow my senior softball team to use its ball field for practice. These great Americans served our country in the past and are still serving Americans today.”

***

‘‘When casting your votes this November, especially at the local municipality level, do your research. Don’t just check off a name because you’ve seen her/his name on signs. Are they qualified? How have they performed in their job and should they be re-elected just because they’re in the current position now?”

WHEN GOVERNMENT CAN’T, or will not protect the people, we have been given the Second Amendment. Unfortunately, people are afraid to protect themselves because politicians will not stand up for our rights.

ONE HUNDRED AND eight executive orders. This crazy woman isn’t drunk on power, she’s wasted.

***

PARTICIPATION TROPHIES EXISTED way before the late 1990s. I’m sorry but boomers invented them. Sometimes the truth hurts.

***

IF YOU WANT to regulate social media companies, which are privately owned, you are not a conservative. You only want to nationalize companies when they make you feel sad.

TROLLMAN FOR TYRONE Township treasurer. Make Tyrone great again.

***

SOCIETIES HAVE PROBLEMS. There are problem-solving methods to find solutions. Demonizing groups of people divides us, making problems worse. Do we want our society’s problems to worsen or to be resolved?

***

IF WE DON’T have a huge surge of coronavirus after all the riots, I’m thinking we have been duped.

NICE ARTICLE LINKING pandemic to decreasing road funding. Needs one correction: COVID-19 is responsible for 0 percent of reduced funding while our governor is responsible for 100 percent of losses. A little honesty in the next article please.

INSTEAD OF A virtual Fourth of July parade, have a July 4th protest. We can carry signs that say, ‘have a peaceful protest parade.’ God bless America.

***

POLICE UNIONS NEED to stop protecting thug police officers.

SEEING WHITMER SHOULDER to shoulder with protesters tells me she’s not as panicked about the virus as she wants you to be. I wonder what she knows that you don’t? I guess we’ll never know because she won’t share all the data.

OUR FAMILY SUPPORTS our police officers — the ‘thin blue line’ that protects citizens from anarchy.

WE MISS THE old Democrat Party. It’s so sad for our country that their platform is socialism and anti-America.

***

IT’S NO LONGER conservative (Republican) versus progressive (Democrat). It’s pro-America versus anti-America.

***

DEFUND THE POLICE is bull. You better hope they come when you need them, at any price.

***

DEFUND HOLLYWOOD.

OUR PRESIDENT HAS used words of compassion repeatedly. Most of the media refused to report anything positive from the president. Try some different news sources.

***

THANK YOU LIVINGSTON County sheriff, local police departments and citizen 2A volunteers for working in unity with protesters in Howell on Thursday to protect freedom of speech and to prevent those who would cause harm from activating.

***

WHY SHOULD ANYONE wonder why President Trump has not commented on the riots? If he did, he is just giving mainstream media fuel for criticism. He is damned if he does and damned if he doesn’t. Instead of words, consider his actions in trying to restore our country.

I USED TO believe that if you were watching mainstream media you were being deceived. Not true. Now, you are being outright lied to.

THERE WILL ALWAYS be bad people including police. They must be dealt with. I would ask anyone to stand face-to-face with someone yelling obscenities and calling you everything but human and deal with it as police and the National Guard troops have. They stand there and take it.

I AM A senior citizen. When I was young, I was taught respect for my elders and authority. What happened to George Floyd is beyond reprehensible but fix the system and the problems. Don’t tear it down. We need law and order and respect for each other.

TO THE TWO ladies in Fenton Township who are always complaining and calling the officials on everyone. You don’t make the rules. If we want a small fire or whatever we will have one. Mind your own business. Get a life. You both are definitely unhappy.
