The day is finally here. The day you have been looking forward to for the last four years. The day which marks the end of your K-12 school experience and the beginning of endless possibilities for your future. Take it all in!

Class of 2021, what an experience you have had. When you started high school in the fall of 2017, no one could have imagined how your high school years would end. To your credit, you have been resilient, creative, dedicated and determined. Despite challenges and restrictions, you have remained positive and have found ways to make lasting memories with your classmates. We are very proud of you.

As you turn the page and begin writing the next chapter, here are a few words of advice:

• Stay focused on your goals. There will be bumps along the way, just keep pushing forward.

• Do what makes you happy.

• Spend time with family.

• Be a good friend.

• Take time to enjoy the little things.

• Try not to overthink everything, this just causes unnecessary stress.

• Avoid drama.

• Visit your grandparents.

• Smile often.

• Love unconditionally.

• Be positive.

Life is what you make it. If you view the challenges you will face as opportunities to learn and grow, you will be amazed at the impact it will have on your overall outlook. Simply looking for the good in people, finding the positive in any situation and acting with good intentions, will help you find peace and happiness in life.

Congratulations, Class of 2021. Best wishes for a life filled with many successes and much happiness — you deserve it!
