Lake Fenton Community Schools superintendent

With the holiday season upon us, it is a wonderful time to reflect on all the positive things in our lives.

For this article, I decided to walk the halls and visit classrooms to ask staff and students to share the things that make them feel Thankful, Grateful or Blessed.  I hope the responses bring a smile to your face.

“I am thankful for my family.”

“I am grateful for my family and friends.”

“I am thankful that everyone in my family is healthy.”

“I am thankful for pizza”

“I am thankful for my family and my family includes my co-workers.”

“I am thankful when I get to build things that light up.” (preschool)

“I am blessed because God blesses everyone.”

“I am grateful for Fridays.”

“I am thankful when my new puppy licks me.” (preschool)

“I am blessed because my family is healthy.”

I am grateful for the opportunity to work with such an amazing staff, students and our entire Lake Fenton Family.  During this holiday season, I encourage you to take time to appreciate the little things, focus on family and friends and be sure to take care of yourself.
