After 15 months of no in-person rehearsals, the Fenton Community Orchestra (FCO) returned to Fenton for an outdoor rehearsal Thursday, June 10. The hiatus was due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

FCO Conductor Andrew David Perkins said approximately 70 musicians attended the rehearsal. Perkins also is director of music at Andrew G. Schmidt Middle School in Fenton.

“It was great just to see each other again and play through some of our favorite music from past seasons,” Perkins said. “We’re all excited for this fall and hopefully a return to ‘normal’ music making.”
