Lake Fenton Community Schools superintendent

Today, I had the opportunity to meet with several support staff groups throughout our district.  This includes custodians, secretaries, paraprofessionals, aides, transportation, etc.  I was absolutely amazed at how positive these individuals were.

Many of these individuals continued to work in the spring to make sure our students were fed, some were cleaning our facilities and others were helping manage the day-to-day chaos that schools have been dealing with this summer.  They were smiling, thankful and appreciative to be part of our educational system.  I am sure we do not say it enough, but we are so grateful for the work they do every day. They are always willing to lend a hand, take on a project, help a student and the list goes on and on.

At a time when stress levels are extremely high, these individuals laughed, joked and seemed truly excited to get back to work and see our kids.

Thank you to all of you who work in these roles in education, you are appreciated more than you know!
