CBS 62 is looking for local adventurers, ages 18 and up, to represent Detroit on an upcoming season of Survivor on CBS. The TV station will hold an open casting call at Value City Furniture in Novi on Wednesday, June 5 from 3 to 7 p.m.

 This is one of only two currently confirmed open casting events, nationwide, for the remainder of 2019 – and the only currently confirmed open casting event in the Midwest.

 On Survivor, cameras roll 24/7 as contestants participate in both team and individual challenges, competing to keep their places on the remote location.

 The grand prize for the winner of Survivor is $1 million.

 Each applicant attending the Survivor casting call will need to bring a signed video release form, along with a valid United States driver’s license or passport. Each person will be videotaped by CBS 62 and will have one minute to explain why they should be a contestant on Survivor. video release form and eligibility requirements can be found at www.CBSDetroit.com/Survivor19.
