The Linden Mills Historical Society book, “Linden Memories Past & Present,” which quickly sold out after its first printing, is expected to be available for purchase next weekend, Saturday. Jan. 15 and Sunday, Jan. 16.

LMHS President Pete Maas said the first round sold out December 19, and they’re currently awaiting a second printing. The printer is positive they can have the book done by Thursday, Jan. 13. The book has more than 250 pages filled with historic information about Linden, along with many stories and photos shared by community members and descendants of founding families.

The Linden Mills Museum will be open on Saturday, Jan. 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sunday, Jan. 16 from noon to 3 p.m. for those who have reserved or pre-paid for the books and also for those wishing to purchase a copy while supply lasts.

The first printing of the book was $25, and the price has increased to $30.

All proceeds from this project will go to the restoration of the Linden Mill building.  Those who wish to have the book mailed, please send a check for $35 ($30 plus $5 shipping), including mailing information to Linden Mills Historical Society, PO Box 823, Linden, Michigan 48451.
