Wishing Well Theatre Inc has received a grant of $10,000 from the Fenton Community Fund and Hagerman Foundation Fund to support Fenton’s second annual Shakespeare in the Park Festival.
August 26, 27 and 28, Wishing Well Theatre Inc will return to Rackham Park for its second annual Shakespeare in the Park Festival, with a production of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.”
People of all ages can come enjoy a live theatrical performance in beautiful Rackham Park, behind the Fenton Community & Cultural Center, complete with singing, dancing, romance, comedy and action. Come early to enjoy their opening act of live music performed by Simply Strings of the Fenton Community Orchestra (Aug. 26 only) and live vocalists (Aug. 27 and 28). They are setting their production in 1969, so feel free to come dressed in the spirit of the time.
Tickets range from $10-$25 and are on sale now at wishingwellfenton.square.site.
“We at Wishing Well Theatre Inc believe there is something truly magical about experiencing live theatre under the stars. So grab a blanket and a picnic basket and join us for a memorable night of entertainment the whole family will enjoy.” Ricky Philippi, founder/director said.
