Diana Anderson of Linden displays some of the bras collected at The State Bank in Fenton for Project UP Lift.

Diana Anderson of Linden is hoping to collect as many new or gently used bras for Project UP Lift, a collaboration of Essential Bodywear and I Support the Girls (ISTG). Project UP Lift is attempting to collect 150,000 donated bras to help improve the lives of women and girls around the world. Anderson has made arrangements with The State Bank at 175 N. LeRoy St. in Fenton to have a collection box in the main lobby for the month of October. I Support the Girls (isupportthegirls.org) collects and distributes essential items, including bras, underwear, and menstrual hygiene products, allowing women experiencing homelessness, impoverishment, or distress to stand tall with dignity.
