On Friday, Jan. 31, at 4:52 p.m., Holly police officers were dispatched to a residence on North Street for a female caller who reported what sounded like a person in the attic area of her home. The caller reported that the sound was different from an animal. Upon arrival, officers located a ceiling access and requested a ladder from the Holly Fire Department. The officers made entry into the attic and were able to determine the home was clear of persons and animals. In addition, the fire department used a thermal heat-sensing device to verify no one was in the attic to assure the resident.
