On Tuesday, Jan. 28 at approximately 11:45 p.m., an Argentine Township police officer observed a Chevrolet pickup truck westbound on Lobdell Road traveling faster than the posted limit of 45 miles per hour. The officer verified the truck’s speed by radar at 66 miles per hour. The officer initiated a traffic stop on Lobdell Road near Glen Hatt and made contact with the driver, a Linden resident. A computer check revealed the driver had two suspensions on his driver’s license. He was arrested for the violation, as well as for speeding. His truck was impounded.
