CHARGES DISMISSED AGAINST FENTON TOWNSHIP WOMAN

On June 2, deputies from the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a home on Sharp Road in Fenton Township for a domestic assault and battery. D/Sgt. Curt T. Harrington said Kimberly Emmert, 63, of Fenton Township, was arraigned June 5 with assault with a dangerous weapon and domestic violence. She was released on personal bond. On July 23, the prosecuting attorney motioned to dismiss all charges. Her case is closed.
