GRAND BLANC MAN REPORTS PISTOL STOLEN IN HOLLY
On Monday, May 25, Holly police were dispatched to speak with a 68-year-old Grand Blanc man who reported he had parked his vehicle in the parking lot of a business on S. Saginaw Street in Holly Village on Wednesday, May 20. He was going to enter a business and had his pistol on him so he chose to remove it and place it in a compartment location behind the driver’s seat. The man reported his vehicle was unlocked and the windows were down. When the owner returned to his car after a few minutes, he drove directly home and discovered the firearm missing. Holly police are reviewing store video and investigating the theft.
MISSING CREDIT CARD, GIFT CARDS IN HOLLY
On Thursday, May 28, a Holly police officer took a report from a 34-year-old Holly woman who discovered an unauthorized charge to a missing credit card. In addition, it was discovered that seven gift cards also are missing. The victim reports a family member and his friend were at the residence Jan.19 and were in several rooms of the home. Once the fraudulent charge was discovered, she looked for the credit card and discovered it and the gift cards are all missing. Holly police are investigating.
STOLEN BIRD UNDER INVESTIGATION IN HOLLY
On Friday, May 29, employees of a local pet store on N. Saginaw Street in Holly Village reported to Holly police that a bird for sale in the store had been stolen. The employees had recently fed the bird, and a couple had entered the store that had previously been at the store asking about the bird. The couple bought feed consistent for caring for a baby bird and were seen by the cage. After they left the store, the bird was missing. Holly police are reviewing store video and are investigating.
