A 47-year-old Davisburg man was arrested for having open liquor in his vehicle when he was pulled over for running a red light in Holly Village on Saturday, May 4. According to police, the man, southbound on Saginaw Street near Airport Road, was traveling faster than the posted limit. The officer initiated a traffic stop when the man drove through the red light. The driver attempted to conceal a small and open bottle of Jim Beam laying in a puddle of whiskey on the floor mat with his foot. The driver said he was sorry and admitted to drinking some of it on his way home from work.
