On Monday, Jan. 3, at 3:30 a.m., Genesee County sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the 14000 block of North Road in Fenton Township for a breaking and entering report. Upon arrival, deputies met with the female homeowner who stated that she just returned home from vacation. While entering her residence she noticed several drawers from her nightstand and dresser were open. A small safe that was unlocked also was open. The homeowner noticed jewelry and coins missing from a shelf attached to the bedroom wall. Deputies processed the scene taking photographs and fingerprints. The case is still being investigated by the Office of Genesee County Sheriff.
