On Nov. 29, at 8:35 a.m., Michigan State Police troopers responded to a 911 call in the 200 block of Grange Hall Road in Groveland Township. A passing motorist observed a vehicle in the ditch along Grange Hall Road. The vehicle had hit a tree and uprooted another before coming to a rest in the ditch, several feet lower than the roadway. Alcohol bottles were located inside the vehicle. According to MSP Second District, family of the victim are being notified. Grange Hall Road was closed from Ortonville Road to Perryville Road. The investigation continues, pending the medical examiner results and the on-scene investigation.
