Jon McKay Anderson

Jon McKay Anderson - age 69, of Fenton, died Wednesday, June 10, 2020. Services will be announced at a later date. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Those desiring may make contributions to the Fenton United Methodist Church. Jon was born on February 11, 1951, in Flint the son of Lowell and Ruth (McKay) Anderson. He graduated from Fenton High School, class of 1969. Jon attended Marquette University, achieving his bachelor's degree. He worked as a sports broadcaster for much of his career. Jon was a member of the Fenton United Methodist Church. He was an avid sportsman, cheering for his favorite team the University of Michigan and Fenton Schools. He is survived by his sister, Jinny (Grant) Belinger; three nieces, Erin (Chad) Goossen, Brynne (Kenny) Belinger-Rogers and Stephanie (Ryan) McMunigal; eight grandnieces and grandnephews; and aunt, Marion Cook. Jon was preceded in death by his parents Lowell and Ruth Anderson.
