Daniel Claire Wolf, Sr. - age 83, of Fenton, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2019. He was born August 23, 1935 in Lincoln, IL to Reverend Claire and Naomi Wolf. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He is survived by his wife and high school sweetheart of 65 years, Martha Etta Perkins Wolf; sons, Daniel Jr. (Phyllis) of Mechanicsburg, PA, David of Fenton, and Donald of Fenton. Grandchildren, Jessica (Joseph) Davolos, Ryan (Samantha) Wolf, Anna (Gerardo) Sanchez; great-grandchildren, Madeline, Ruby and Ada Davolos. Brothers, Larry and Paul (Peck Kam); and sister, Ruth (Keith) Dwyer; several nieces and nephews. He so enjoyed being with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law, LeAnn Wolf. He joined the Tyrone Presbyterian Church in 1974. In 1980 the congregation moved to the PCA. Dan loved the music of the church. He sang in the choir, with the Tyrone Gospel Quartet for ten years, was a soloist; sang duets and with trios over the years, praising his Lord in song with the gift of music he'd been given. He participated in many church activities. He was on the work crew that raised our pavilion; taught Sunday school; Bible studies; prayer time and other Upward Basketball support rolls; was involved in the Jesus Walk. A memorial service will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, July 6, 2019 at Tyrone Covenant Presbyterian Church, 10235 White Lake Rd., Fenton with Pastor Lawrence Bowlin officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 PM - 8 PM, Friday, July 5, 2019 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton and 10 AM - 11 AM, Saturday at the church.
