Albert John Parks

Albert John Parks - age 68, of Holly, died Sunday, April 25, 2021. Funeral services with social distancing restrictions will be held at 11 AM Friday, April 30 at the Dryer Funeral Home, Holly with Pastor Linda-Living Hawley officiating. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Holly. Visitation will be from 2 - 9 PM Thursday, April 29, with social distancing restrictions. Albert was born in Holly on August 23, 1952 to Glenn and Mildred (Crosby) Parks. He was retired from Huron Valley Schools, a former employee of George Fischer DISA, and he was the owner of Al's Small Engine Repair. He loved lawn mowers and repairing them, especially John Deere. He also loved clocks, tape measures, casinos, playing cards and poker. Surviving are his wife, Marsha; three children, Albert John (Anna Burns) Parks Jr., DeAnna (Jeff) Bloom, and Andy (Adrianne Messenger) Parks; four grandchildren, Travis, Ethan, Ace, and Anna; sisters and brother, Barbara (Buddy) McLeighton, Bo (Peggy Sue) Box, and Suzie McKay; and his dogs, Max and Mollie. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Virginia Stewart; and brother, Robert Parks. The family gives special thanks to all the friends that supported Albert through his long illness.
