On Oct. 28 at 7:30 p.m., a Fenton police officer initiated a traffic stop on a Chevy Silverado for not having a license plate on the vehicle. Contact was made with the driver, a 33-year-old Fenton area man. He admitted to knowing the vehicle had no plate and told the officer his ex-girlfriend took it. A computer check revealed his driver’s license was revoked and he had one felony and two misdemeanor arrest warrants. The arresting agency for the felony, St. Clair Shores, met with Fenton police to take custody of the man. The passenger in the Silverado had a clean record and took the vehicle.
