On Friday, Sept. 11, at 11:43 p.m., a Holly police officer was on patrol on Saginaw Street at Grange Hall Road when he observed a vehicle approaching quickly behind his patrol car without any lights on. The officer pulled off the road to avoid impact. The officer stopped the vehicle and determined the driver, identified as a 24-year-old Fenton woman, was highly intoxicated. The woman was twice the legal limit to drive. She was arrested for operating while intoxicated and lodged until able to post bond.
