Tyrone Twp. — A large RV sat gutted and aflame in the median of the highway Saturday night. Traffic slowed significantly on both north and southbound lanes as emergency crews worked to clear the scene.

 Livingston County emergency services responded to the motorhome fire at approximately 10:50 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3 on U.S.23, a few miles south of the Center Road exit in Tyrone Township. The Hartland Township Fire Department, Livingston County Sheriff’s Office, EMS and Michigan State Police worked together to handle the fiery RV.

 Neither of the occupants of the vehicle were injured, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
