Toastmasters

 The Fenton Area Toastmasters Club has moved into a new location and elected a new slate of club officers for the upcoming year. Sharon Howell is the new president. Robin Riddell will serve as vice president of education and will assist club members in reaching their educational goals. The vice president of membership is Lucy Brooks. Local author Wesley A. Whittaker is the new vice president of public relations.

 The club’s new secretary is Corissa Banghart. Jim Orolim will serve as treasurer and Paula Simpson is the sergeant-at-arms. Scott Farnell is the immediate past president.

 Fenton Area Toastmasters meet every Friday morning, except holidays and Fenton High School snow days, in the training room of the Fenton Fire Department. Parking and entrance is on the east side of the building. Meetings start at 7:45 a.m. and run for about an hour. Visitors are always welcome.  Toastmasters International is a non-profit educational organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills through a worldwide network of clubs.
