2019 farmers almanac

 Fall is upon us. Fill your closets with sweaters and schedule a trip to the pumpkin patch, but make sure to check the

weather forecast.

 Here’s the 2019 Farmer’s Almanac prediction for fall:

September — sunny, some rain showers

 From Sept. 18-22, the lower lakes region, including the majority of Michigan is expected to get rain showers and have warm temperatures. 

 Sept. 23-27 is expected to be sunny and cool, and rain showers are expected from Sept. 28-30. 

 The average temperature for September is projected to be 60 degrees Fahrenheit, which is 2 degrees below average, with a 3.5 inches of precipitation, which is 1 inch below average. 

October — rainy, potential first snowfall

 The beginning of the month, Oct. 1-3, the weather is expected to be sunny and cool. From Oct. 4-9, the Farmer’s Almanac predicts rain showers and mild weather. 

 Snow could be seen for the first time from Oct. 10-14 with colder weather, but from Oct. 15-25, it’s expected to be warmer with a few rain showers. 

 Temperatures from Oct. 26-31 are predicted to be cool with more showers. 

 The average temperature for October will be 54 degrees, which is 2 degrees above average with a precipitation of 2 inches, which is .5 inches below average. 

Going into November and winter

 The Farmer’s Almanac predicts winter will be warmer than normal with above average precipitation.
