 Numbers of COVID-19 confirmed cases, probable cases, deaths and recoveries change daily.

 Cumulative COVID-19-associated hospitalization rates since March 1 are updated weekly, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on Wednesday, June 24. The overall cumulative COVID-19 hospitalization rate is 94.5 per 100,000, with the highest rates in people aged 65 years and older (286.9 per 100,000) and 50-64 years

(143.0 per 100,000).

 Based on death certificate data, the percentage of deaths attributed to Pneumonia, Influenza or COVID-19 (PIC) decreased from 11.4 percent during week 23 to 7.1 percent during week 24 but remained above baseline.

 This is the eighth week of a declining percentage of deaths due to PIC, but this may change as more death certificates are processed, particularly for recent weeks.
