Fenton City Hall

Commercial property owners in the city of Fenton should not be surprised when they see someone coming around to measure their buildings and take photos sometime during the 2019-20 year.

Members of the Fenton City Council have approved spending $2,000 on a Commercial Property Verification Program. This work will be conducted by an outside contractor.

Stacey Kaake, a qualified and experienced assessor, will perform the work for the city of Fenton for the 2020 assessment year.

The work includes: a review of commercial parcels to check for measurements, depreciation and other factors that would affect the true cash value of properties. She will also take new digital color photos of each commercial building on the property to be placed on the city’s website with BSA software.
