Improvements at the Jack R. Winegarden Public Library in Fenton will continue this year. All steel railings, with portions of stairs, at the library are in need of replacement as part of ordinary maintenance, according to Michael Hart, assistant city manager and Downtown Development Authority (DDA) executive director. At its Monday, June 24 meeting, the City Council authorized paying $5,986 to Lindhout Associates Architects AIA PC. This will include the scope of services to include project design, project bid process and through the construction phase. It is the city’s intent to have this project bid and under construction in 2019.
