Savannah Bremer, 17, is a senior at Holly High School. Her parents are Jeannette and Richard Bremer (deceased 2008). She has one sister, Karly Hyde. Savannah is captain of the Holly Varsity Dance Team and Equestrian Team, a 4-H member and president of Oakland County Horse Youth Council.
If you were given $1,000, what would you do?
I would donate it to Camp Casey, which is an organization that does horsey house calls for kids with cancer.
Of what achievement are you most proud?
I am most proud of my equestrian team achievement because I have had a very successful year going to states for the first time and winning every class I was in at the 3 district meets.
If your could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
I would love to travel to India to see all the different culture.
If you could open a restaurant, what kind of restaurant would you open?
If I could open a restaurant, it would be Mexican restaurant.
How is school different now from previous generations?
School is very different because kids do very bad things now like vape and fight and school systems need more security because of shootings.
What do you do for fun?
I like to ride my horse and dance for fun.
If you could choose a superpower, what would it be?
A superpower I would like to have is invisibility.
What is your favorite school subject?
My favorite school subject is English; my least favorite is math.
How would you handle the issue of bullying?
I handle bullying by addressing it myself and if it continues, I tell an adult.
How have you changed over your high school career?
I have matured by gaining leadership skills that I use in my daily life and with my sports.
