Honey Red Hot Shrimp

“I like shrimp, a lot. I also like spicy food. This dish is enough for two (if you double the shrimp!) What can I say, I only had enough shrimp for me! Seriously this might be the best tasting shrimp I’ve ever eaten in my life!” — Trish

INGREDIENTS

• One pound peeled, cleaned and deveined shrimp

• 4 Tbsp butter

• 1 lime

• 2 Tbsp fresh cilantro (chopped)

• 2 cloves garlic (minced)

• 2 Tbsp honey

• 1 Tbsp Frank’s RedHot sauce

• Salt

• Pepper

DIRECTIONS

Rinse and pat dry the shrimp. Zest the lime and then cut it into wedges. Stem and chop the cilantro. Mince 2 cloves of garlic. Melt the butter over medium high heat, and add in the garlic, honey and red hot sauce. When it starts bubbling, place the shrimp in and do not crowd the pan. Let them cook for two minutes and then turn them over. Cook for one minute more, and then plate them with the side of your liking. I used authentic Ramen noodles. Don’t forget the sauce in the pan! Toss it with the shrimp and then squeeze a couple lime wedges on top of all of it!
