Fenton — When it comes to picking an eye doctors office, most want convenience, quality, and fair prices. Speaking of convenient, if you are ever in Fenton, you probably drove by Fenton Vision Center. Getting in and out of their new parking lot has never been easier.

Open since 1976, Fenton Vision Center has been in business longer than any other eye doctors office in Fenton.

Doctors Alvarado and Cupal took ownership of Fenton Vision Center in 2001 and moved to their current location in the center of Fenton in 2012.

“We serve patients from infants to seniors and offer services including comprehensive eye health and diabetic evaluations, infant and pediatric eye exams, low vision and vision therapy,” said Dr. Cupal, who has been practicing since 1985. “My passions are nutrition, health of the eye, as well as vision therapy and maximizing children’s vision so they can learn developmentally. I’m also passionate about diabetes, risk reduction and macular degeneration. We really are a full-spectrum clinic.”

“We’re also a walk-in red eye clinic and are always on call for eye emergencies. We are very accessible and also accept most medical insurances” said Dr. Alvarado. “We are a fully licensed medical facility and are accredited by most medical and vision insurance carriers to bill for medical problems like pink eye, metal in the eye, or whatever.”

Along with offering the most comprehensive services in the area, Fenton Vision Center also features an extensive selection of frames, including exclusive luxury lines, sunglasses, contact lenses, and most recently, glasses to correct color blindness. Selecting your lenses and frames is a very personal choice, which is why Fenton Vision Center tailors your frames to your vision, style and daily activities

The doctors’ certifications and specialties allow both Doctors Cupal and Alvarado to treat patients for traumatic injuries, visual rehabilitation, medical issues and learning-related vision problems (vision therapy). “I get referrals from doctors in town every week for medical eye problems. They trust me with their patients because I’m good at what I do, I treat their patients with respect, and I communicate with the doctors exactly what I am doing.”

“We put a lot of thought and care into everything we do, into every aspect of our practice.”

Dr. Alvarado said, “We’re not a chain, we don’t have other locations. This is it. This is our only focus and our attention is exclusively here.”
