Fenton — With a large selection of unique eyeglass frames and a focus on patient health, Iris Eyecare is now open in downtown Fenton, 403 S. LeRoy St.

Bringing more than 50 years of patient-centered care and experience, Iris Eyecare is the newest location for the experts hailing from Grand Blanc Vision. The team at Grand Blanc Vision spotted the downtown space earlier this year and said it was the perfect location for an expansion.

“Fenton is unique and an optical location in the heart of Dibbleville should reflect that,” said Dr. Daniel Markley, who leads the team along with Dr. Jessica Bearer. “At Iris Eyecare we have worked hard to create an atmosphere that is not only professional, but is also inviting, with a downtown boutique feel that fits the Fenton vibe perfectly.”

Iris Eyecare features exposed brick walls, chandelier lighting and luxury seating areas. The upscale atmosphere speaks to the luxury selection available Iris Eyecare.

“We are perhaps most excited about our amazing frame gallery,” Markley said. “Your eyewear should reflect your style. Most every frame line we carry is not only unique to the area, in many cases, we are the exclusive vendor in Michigan.”

Iris Eyecare features men’s styles made from carbon fiber and women’s lines from all over the globe.

Along with a beautiful setting and great selection, patients at Iris Eyecare can be assured they are receiving the best possible care.

“Our first priority is always to provide comprehensive dilated eye health exams, checking for cataracts, macular degeneration, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease and many other eye conditions,” Markley said. “Safeguarding your vision is always job one for us.”

Iris Eyecare is accepting new patients of all ages and current Grand Blanc Vision patients are welcome to visit this location as well.

Thanks to their vast selection and downtown location, Markley and his team also welcome foot traffic for customers who would like to try on a wide selection of frames in a variety of styles and fits.

Both Markley and Bearer have Fenton ties. Markley has lived in Fenton since 2002 with his wife Ann Marie and two children Caleb and Sophia, who attend Fenton schools. He’s a long-time Boy Scout leader and coach. Bearer is a long-time Fenton Lions member and knows the area and the people very well, having spent countless hours volunteering and working at community events.
