The staff will deliver top-notch customer service and help you get the most out of your visit. Cheese is an amazing food with endless opportunities to learn and experience and The Cheese Lady wants to take that journey with all their customers. Business hours are Tuesday-Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Genesee County Board of Commissioners announces leadership positions

During the Genesee County Board of Commissioners’ organizational meeting on Jan. 6, Commissioner Mark Young was chosen to lead the Genesee County Commission as Chairman for 2021. Young was elected to serve the residents of the 5th District as county commissioner in 2012 and has previously served as chairman in 2017 and 2018 when the county experienced the greatest capital improvement project growth in several decades. Young has previously served as chairman for the Finance Committee, and serves on the Flint & Genesee Regional Chamber of Commerce Operations Board. Young announced the leadership team for the following committees:

Finance Committee – Commissioner Gary Peppin (chairman)

Governmental Operations Committee – Commissioner Bryan W. Nolden (chairman)

Human Services Committee – Commissioner Charles H. Winfrey (chairman)

Public Works Committee – Commissioner Domonique Clemons (chairman)

Community and Economic Development Committee – Commissioner Debra Newman (chairman)

 Commissioner Domonique Clemons also was elected as the vice-chairman of the board for the 2021 year. Clemons, who represents the 4th District,  was elected to his first term in November’s election.
