Six of us elderly ladies went out for the evening to see the presentation of the Christmas pageant put on by the Fenton Village Players. After the show, we ladies decided to treat ourselves to hot tea and dessert at Villagers Restaurant in Holly. A man sitting at the next table came over to us before he left and told us how much he enjoyed seeing us and hearing our conversations. He said it reminded him of his mother who had recently passed away. After he left, the waitress came over and told us the gentleman, by the name of John, had paid our entire bill. What a warm feeling that left us and we would all like to thank John with all our old hearts. I’m one of the six ladies who uses a cane to walk with.

Sincerely, Beverly Filka,

Holly
