WITH THE HUGE snowstorm last night, I witnessed something today that totally shocked me. A resident of the Elmwood subdivision went around the block on his riding lawnmower with snow blower attachment, and cleared the sidewalks. I didn’t realize there were any good people left in this town. Our walk was already cleared, but I can only imagine the elderly he helped.

TO EVERYBODY WHO complains about traffic, if somebody is going too slow for you, don’t get an attitude. Most of the time, it’s like you’re racing to see who can stop at the red light, first. It’s snowy, icy, and dangerous. Be careful, be considerate, and be patient. If you want to pass somebody, go ahead, but you might want to just stay where you’re at. It could save your life.

ALL RIGHT, FENTON city residents, they want to raise our water bill. What would happen if we were to invest in something like this? www.rainwatercollection.com I bet their tune would change when taking this into consideration. I find this intriguing and economically viable. I am definitely going to invest into this myself, come on everyone, climb aboard.

Reader wants new location for library

Transforming the existing old Farmer Jack building, now owned by VG’s into a library for the Fenton community would be a gift for all. VG’s would benefit with the loss of paying taxes on the site. VG’s may get a tax incentive from the city and state, and would not have a competing business in the area.
