What goes together better than a pampering spa experience and wine?
For Serendipity Day Spa owner Jessica Skop, the answer was easy. That’s why she opened Sterling’s Wine Cellar in December, tucked cozily inside her Linden spa at 129 East Broad St.
“It’s a fantastic concept. Women love it,” said Skop. “We are one of Michigan’s only day spas complete with a liquor license, which makes Sterling’s the perfect addition to any spa party or quiet spa day for yourself. From birthdays to bachelorette parties, a visit to Serendipity Day Spa is a pampering, fun event.”
Serendipity Day Spa is proud to utilize Fenton Winery & Brewery as their primary wine provider and distributor. The wine bar includes 12 wines, plus beer and non-alcoholic beverages by the glass, as well as approximately 40 bottles available for service.
People can enjoy Sterling’s by sitting at the comfortable wine bar or choosing a cozy table near the fireplace. Packaged gourmet snacks are also available.
Sterling’s Wine Cellar is Serendipity Day Spa’s most recent expansion, following a major renovation at its second location in Frankenmuth. Skop opened Serendipity Day Spa in her hometown of Frankenmuth in March 2009 at River Place Shops. Located across from SugerHigh Bakery, this Frankenmuth spa now offers five treatment rooms, six pedi chairs, four mani stations and a small boutique.
Serendipity is beginning its monthly charity program, which offers $50 gift cards for $40. All proceeds go to the charity of the month. See their Facebook page for details on the guidelines and a list of charities they are supporting this year.
